About the event
Cross-quarter Online Circle -
As fields full of golden stems bow beneath the weight of ripening grain Lughnasadh, more commonly known as Lammas marks the first harvest of the seasons, a sacred threshold between the fullness of midsummer and the quiet promise of autumn.
Rooted in ancient Celtic tradition, the festival honours Lugh, the many-skilled one, and his foster mother, Tailtiu, whose devotion and sacrifice transformed wild land into fertile ground for her people. It is a season of gratitude, when the Earth offers her abundance and reminds us that every harvest is born of nurture, perseverance, and love. I
n our sister circle, we gather to honour this timeless rhythm, giving thanks for the gifts we have cultivated, reflecting on the wisdom we have earned, and discerning what we are ready to gather in, what we will share, and what we can gently release as the Wheel turns once…
